Miami-Dade Animal Services once again joins No Kill Nation's "Just One Day" Campaign
Miami-Dade Animal Services (Animal Services) is once again participating in No Kill Nation’s Just One Day on June 11, 2017, a nationwide effort to empty the shelters by saving the lives of shelter pets. Adorable puppies, kittens, cats and dogs – all available for adoption – will put their best paw forward to encourage residents to open their hearts and homes and adopt. Animal Services invites the community to join in this effort by taking advantage of reduced-fee pet adoptions and rescue fees at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center located at 3599 NW 79 Avenue, Doral, FL, 33122 and at all off-site adoption events.
Adoption fees for dogs over 4 months old are 50 percent off and free for cats and kittens. Pet adoptions include spaying/neutering, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip.
“We hope our community will help us empty the shelter on June 11 by adopting a pet,” said Alex Muñoz, Director of Animal Services. “After achieving a combined save rate for cats and dogs of 90 percent, we continue in our progress towards making Miami-Dade County a no-kill community.”
