Going Global Workshop to educate businesses and individuals on importing and exporting to take place July 13

MIAMI (July 11, 2017)

The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Economic Development and International Trade, in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Javier D. Souto, District 10, will host a free workshop on Thursday, July 13 to educate businesses, as well as start-ups interested in starting or expanding their import and export operations. This workshop will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at the West Dade Regional Library.

Participants will hear from public- and private-sector industry experts, who will share information on selecting strategies for global expansion, regulatory compliance, shipping and logistics documentation, and trade financing. Other workshops in the series will be offered at various locations across the County throughout the year.
