Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs announces cancellations due to Hurricane Irma
In anticipation of possible severe weather conditions associated with Hurricane Irma, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs has cancelled performances and activities at its cultural facilities.
The Department’s administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, September 6, 2017 and Friday, September 7, 2017. For more information, please visit the Miami-Dade County website www.miamidade.gov.
African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC)

The AHCAC’s afterschool arts programs will be closed on Thursday, September 7 and Friday, September 8, 2017. The Pre-Carnival event scheduled for Friday, September 8, 2017, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Dance classes slated to begin on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 will take place only if Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Miami-Dade County facilities have resumed operations.
