Miami-Dade County road clearing crews to report to their designated work sites on Monday, September 11 at 5:00 a.m.

MIAMI (September 10, 2017)

All Miami-Dade County employees who are part of clearing crews from the Department of Transportation and Public Works, Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, and the Department of Solid Waste Management will report to their designated work sites on Monday, September 11 at 5:00 a.m.

Road clearing employees are exempt from the 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Miami-Dade County curfew issued by Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez earlier today. Employees who have questions regarding their road clearing assignments should contact their immediate supervisor.

In addition to the essential service that county employees will begin to provide on Monday, residents can also take part in the recovery efforts, after tropical storm force winds subside and when it is safe to do so, by taking photos and submitting a flood or damage assessment report at the County’s Neighborhood Damage Assessment page
