Miami-Dade County warns residents of an unlicensed shipping company
The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Consumer Protection advises the public that shipping company Cargamar, Inc.’s license to operate in the Dominican Republic was recently rescinded, and they have been ordered to cease operations in Miami-Dade County and the Dominican Republic. Consumers should avoid using this company to ship goods to the Dominican Republic.
The Office of Consumer Protection, assisted by Federal and local law enforcement, has begun an investigation into Cargamar, Inc. and is working diligently to address and resolve all consumer complaints.
