New traffic circle to improve mobility in Brickell

MIAMI (November 27, 2017)

On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will join officials from Swire Properties and the City of Miami in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the inauguration of a traffic circle that will ease traffic flow in Brickell.

The traffic circle, located on SW/SE 6 Street and South Miami Avenue, is designed to help westbound traffic on SE 6 Street continue to travel west through the intersection. It also will help alleviate north, east, and west-bound traffic patterns.

Swire Properties worked with DTPW and City of Miami to build this traffic circle, which will enhance the current roadway system in Brickell.
