Going Global Workshop to educate businesses and individuals on importing and exporting to take place April 17, 2018

MIAMI (April 16, 2018)

The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Economic Development and International Trade, in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sally A. Heyman, District 4, will host a free workshop on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, to educate businesses, as well as start-ups interested in starting or expanding their import and export operations. This workshop will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.at the Aventura Branch Library.

Participants will hear from public- and private-sector industry experts, who will share information on selecting strategies for global expansion, steps to successful importing and exporting, how to use international cross border solutions, tariffs and the customs process, terms of sales and trade financing. Other workshops in the series will be offered at various locations across the County throughout the year.
