Transit services during Memorial Day 2018

MIAMI (May 25, 2018)

On Monday, May 28, Memorial Day, the Department of Transportation and Public Works will run a Sunday schedule for Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover.

METROBUS: Because Metrobus will be running on a Sunday schedule, routes that provide weekday-only service will not operate on Memorial Day. These routes include:

In addition, several bus routes will be detoured in Miami Beach this weekend, on Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, May 27, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Those routes are: C, L, M, S, 120 Beach MAX and the 150 Miami Beach Airport Express. Shuttle service will be available between 5th and 41st streets, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

METRORAIL: On Monday, Metrorail stations located between Dadeland South and Earlington Heights stations, which are served by both the Orange and Green lines, will have service at approximately every 15 minutes. Passengers departing from the Miami International Airport Station on the Orange Line, and those traveling on the Green Line north of the Earlington Heights Station, will have Metrorail service at approximately every 30 minutes.

METROMOVER: Metromover will run on a Sunday schedule.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES: All DTPW administrative offices, including those for Golden Passport and Special Transportation Service (STS), will be closed. However, STS customers can still call the STS reservation number (305-871-1111) to reserve or cancel an STS trip.
