The NW 17 Avenue bridge scheduled to reopen
The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will reopen the NW 17 Avenue bridge, spanning over the Miami River, starting Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 5:00 a.m.
In late July, the bridge was closed to pedestrian, cycling and vehicular traffic due to necessary repairs. After several weeks of work by Miami-Dade County crews and specialized contractors, the Department is reopening the bridge and the surrounding roads to allow for unobstructed flow of pedestrian, cycling, and vehicular traffic.
Residents and commuters who would like additional information regarding the bridge reopening can contact DTPW Public Information Officer Jennie Lopez at [email protected].
