The Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) Head Start Program is hosting "Sensory Saturday" for young children. The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, 10 a.m.-noon, at Paradise Christian School, 6184 W. 21 Ct, Hialeah, Florida. Families will engage in hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities and learn how to incorporate at-home sensory play with their children.

Sensory activities include Picasso Corner, Smelly Clay, Seek and Find, Magic Sand, and What’s the Sound. Music, food and prizes are included.

This event is sponsored by Miami-Dade County Head Start, an early childhood education program that annually serves over 7,500 families residing in low-income communities throughout the County. "Sensory Saturday" was created to support the program’s goal of fostering a culture of lifelong learning for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, families and staff.
