Going Global Workshop to educate businesses and individuals on importing and exporting to take place Oct. 11, 2018

The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Economic Development and International Trade in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Commission Chair Esteban L. Bovo, Jr., District 13, will host a free workshop on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, to educate businesses as well as start-ups interested in starting or expanding their import and export operations. This workshop will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at Hialeah Park, 2200 E. 4 Ave., 3rd Floor, Hialeah, Florida.

Participants will hear from public-sector and private-sector industry experts who will share information on selecting strategies for global expansion, steps to successful importing and exporting, how to use international cross border solutions, tariffs and the customs process, terms of sales and trade financing. Other workshops in the series will be offered at various locations across the County throughout the year.
