"Moonlight & Music" Valentine's Day Concert to be held at the Deering Estate

Celebrate your love at a romantic outdoor concert under the stars at the Deering Estate's annual "Moonlight & Music" Valentine's Day Concert featuring Vintash Band with Michaela Paige and Raymond Daniel Rodriguez, and special guest Saxman Lee Gabe. The concert on Thursday, Feb. 14 starts at 8 p.m. and the gate opens at 7 p.m. Guests who purchase tickets with an early access upgrade can enter as early as 5 p.m. in the preferred check-in line.

Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs and small picnic baskets. Please note that the following items are not permitted: large coolers, open flames/candles, balloons and pop-up tents.

General Admission Tickets: $35.
Deering Estate Foundation Members (with special ticket code): $30.
EARLY ACCESS UPGRADE for an additional $10.
*With this upgrade, guests will receive early access (beginning at 5 p.m.) and a preferred check-in line.

Tickets can be purchased online (for an additional fee) or by calling the Deering Estate sales office at 305-235-1668, ext. 233. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note that tickets are nonrefundable, rain or shine.

Refreshments and food will also be available for an additional fee. Vendors include Miami Roasted Corn, Crepemaker, Latin Fixin's, ChurroMania, Ms. Cheezious and Joanna's Marketplace.

About the artists:

Vintash Band
has a unique international flavor, blending jazz, funk, R&B, blues, Latin, world and bossa nova. Since launching its debut album, New World, Vintash has received recognition from companies such as TLC, NBC, Spotify, Discovery Inc. and KSA Entertainment.

Cleveland native Michaela Paige (vocals) is more than just another singer. Michaela was a participant on NBC’s Emmy Award winning hit reality TV show "The Voice" where she not only earned a spot in the Top 12 with Team Blake but graced the likes of USA Today, Rolling Stone, Access Hollywood and the iTunes Top 100 Chart. Michaela also spent four years as creator and host of three radio shows with Talk 4 Media, a company partnered with iHeart. She's shared the stage with artists such as Vanilla Ice, Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Smash Mouth, C+C Music Factory, Fantasia, Sugar Hill Gang, and the Temptations.

Raymond Daniel Rodriguez (guitars/vocals/director) is best known for his contribution as a member of the award-winning and nationally-renowned Cuban metal band Hipnosis. He was the lead guitarist, performed backing vocals, and was the primary songwriter and arranger on its album, Revelation, which won the coveted Cuba Disco award in 2013. Raymond has performed with the jazz group Mestisaje; he has collaborated with artists such as Havana Ensemble Jazz Band , Los Aldeanos, and Chacal, as well as several others.

Saxman Lee Gabe was born and raised in Miami from a musically talented family and continues to make South Florida his home base for his musical journey. Lee can be found performing in many different bands, ensembles and solo acts. Lee’s primary instrumental focus is the saxophone but also doubles on flute, piccolo, clarinet, and EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument). Lee’s favorite music to perform is modern jazz fusion, but he performs all styles of music from classical, jazz, blues, and R&B to pop, rock and top 40 hits.

The Deering Estate preserves the 1920s era Miami estate of Charles Deering, Chicago industrialist, early preservationist, environmentalist, art collector, philanthropist and first chairman of the International Harvester Company. The Deering Estate is a 21st Century house museum, cultural and ecological field station, and a national landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owned by the State of Florida and managed by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department.
