Partner with CAHSD today to provide free meals over the summer
Community Action and Human Services Department [CAHSD] is excited to announce that the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will be back this summer to provide free nutritious meals to children 18 years of age and under. CAHSD has been providing this service for 20 years in the community.
CAHSD is seeking community partners to provide free meals to children and youth participating in summer programs at no cost to the partner. Hot and cold meals upon request are prepared using fresh, locally grown foods. Menus are analyzed for their nutrient content. CAHSD also provides participating sites with a free nutrition education calendar filled with healthy recipes for families, hands-on nutrition activities to engage children at the sites and articles on health and nutrition.
These are some of the unique services offered by CAHSD for participating sites, making us an exceptional sponsor in the community.
