Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez will speak to the media on Monday, May 6, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Miami-Dade County Permitting and Inspection Center, 11805 SW 26th St., Miami.

To kick off National Small Business Week, Mayor Gimenez will share details of a free program that will help small businesses and homeowners in unincorporated Miami-Dade successfully navigate through the entire building permitting process. Understanding the complexities of the permitting process can be difficult, especially for small businesses just starting out or homeowners trying to correct unpermitted work. This program will provide applicants with personalized service – before they spend considerable amounts of money – so that they have the information they need to correctly complete their project, saving both time and money.
