Celebrate Farm City Week with farmers market at the Stephen P. Clark Center on November 19
The community is invited to the 13th Annual Farm City Week Farmers Market on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center. Farm City Week is dedicated to celebrating and enhancing links between farm families and urban residents. The Government Center is located at 111 NW First Street, Miami, FL 33128.
The Farm City Week Farmers Market will have local growers on hand with fruits, vegetables, honey and plants as well as educational displays from the Dade County Farm Bureau and the University of Florida/IFAS Extension.
Miami-Dade County’s agricultural industry ranks among the top three industries for the County and second in the State of Florida and is one of the most diverse in the country. The tropical climate provides for a year-round growing season, as well as the ability to produce an extremely wide range of crops.
