Miami-Dade Transit is resuming service on Monday, June 1

MIAMI ( May 31, 2020 )

The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will restore all Miami-Dade Transit services on Monday, June 1, while continuing to monitor the current situation. As events evolve, adjustments may be made. At this time, Metrorail, Metromover, and Metrobus will resume, as closely as possible, back to their New Normal schedules tomorrow.

As decisions are made, new adjustments will be shared with the community. Transit riders are encouraged to follow DTPW on social media, download the Go Miami-Dade Transit app, or sign up for Transit Alerts in order to receive the latest information about Miami-Dade Transit services.

Metrorail and Metromover service is scheduled to operate from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Metrobus will start service at 4:30 a.m. Supplemental overnight service, Go Nightly, for designated Metrobus routes will also resume service on the evening of Monday, June 1.

Effective May 31, 2020, Miami-Dade County has imposed a curfew from 9 p.m. each night until  6 a.m. each morning until rescinded. Essential workers are exempt from the curfew to get to and from work or perform their work duties.

DTPW continues to work closely with local law enforcement to ensure transit service is provided safely. The safety of passengers and employees remains a top priority for the department.
