COVID-19 vaccines at PortMiami

MIAMI ( May 12, 2021 )

Miami-Dade County and the Florida Division of Emergency Management are partnering to provide the maritime community with COVID-19 vaccines at PortMiami (Cruise Terminal J). This effort continues Miami-Dade County's vaccine distribution program that started earlier this month – since vaccination began, nearly 3,000 shots have already been administered to crew and other members of the maritime community.

"We are working hard to get shots in arms at PortMiami," said Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. "I'm proud we have already vaccinated thousands at the Port – a key step to protecting our workforce, residents, and visitors and ensuring the safe return of this vital industry."

PortMiami’s new vaccination site is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Terminal J. Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson are available at the Port, and appointments are not required. For more information visit FloridaDisaster.org/Vaccine or miamidade.gov/vaccine.
