“The pandemic has taken a steep toll on one of our most vital local industries, which is why we've been working so hard to usher back the safe restart of cruising,” said Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Passenger cruising represents thousands of jobs for Miami-Dade workers and billions of dollars of local economic impact. We're proud to continue standing with our local cruise partners and we urge our community and visitors to get vaccinated, so we can protect our tourism economy and begin rebuilding stronger than ever."
