The mission of our Sister Cities Program is to create and strengthen partnerships between the County and international communities through increased global cooperation and understanding at the municipal level, and to further the goals of the Sister Cities International Program.

Through the efforts of our Coordinating Council, the Chairs of the Sister Committees, and our members, we work together to promote international trade and commerce, to develop intercultural understanding, and to promote tourism and economic development.  Our program also serves to enrich the quality of life of the residents of Miami-Dade County.
