Head Start / Early Head Start to host 11th Annual Pregnant Women, Infants and Toddlers Conference

Head Start is inviting participants to see early educational development through the eyes of a child

 

(MIAMI, March 21, 2013) – The Miami-Dade Head Start/Early Head Start Program will host its 11th Annual Pregnant Women, Infant and Toddlers Conference on March 25-26, 2013, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The focus of this year’s conference is to provide training for expectant mothers and childcare professionals on current trends in early childhood education.

Participants may choose from a number of informative workshops offered during the free two day conference on a wide range of topics.  A full list of the workshop topics and descriptions is available at www.miamidade.gov/socialservices.    

Miami-Dade County Head Start/Early Head Start Program serves over 7,200 children and families. Head Start is a federally funded comprehensive child development program, serving low–income families.
