Community Action and Human Services Divisions
Community Services Division
The Community Services Division provides direct services to individuals residing in Miami-Dade County having problems with substance abuse addiction, co-occurring disorders (combined psychiatric and substance abuse problems), homelessness, and high risk behavior for potential criminality.
Treatment Alternative to Street Crime (TASC) Division
The Treatment Alternatives to Street Crime (TASC) Division operates outpatient diversion programs which includes individual and group counseling, urinalysis testing and acupuncture therapy. Another component is the Domestic Violence Overlay Program which provides substance abuse services to domestic violence offenders who have been identified by the Advocate Program as substance abusers.
