Miami-Dade County's Department of Solid Waste Management Thanksgiving waste collection, recycling and disposal service schedule for Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2013

(MIAMI, November 20, 2013) – Customers of the Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management are reminded that garbage and recycling collection services will be provided as normal on Thanksgiving Day as well as the Friday after Thanksgiving Day.

Curbside Waste Collection and Recycling Services

All services WILL take place as normally scheduled on both days.  Customers are advised to place their carts at the curb by 7 a.m. on their respective collection day, or the evening before their collection day. 

Disposal Facilities

The Department’s disposal facilities will observe normal hours of operation on both Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2013. 

Administrative Offices

The Department’s administrative offices will be closed on both Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2013.
