Are You Happy with County Services?
<<Resident Satisfaction Survey 2003
In the fall of 2005, a randomly selected group of Miami-Dade County residents received the County's 2005 Resident Satisfaction Survey. This survey gathered input directly from residents to determine the effectiveness of County services, and where there are areas of improvement. Our ability to Deliver Excellence Every Day depends on hearing directly from our customers – Miami-Dade County residents.
The comprehensive survey was distributed to nearly 16,000 households throughout the County, and will help assess how residents rate quality of life, County government overall, and service levels provided by specific County operations. All responses provided by a resident will remain confidential. Residents selected for the study completed the survey by mail or phone.
The information is used to help identify priority areas for improvement. The data collection is complete and results are posted through the links below. The information also plays a vital role in the next performance report to the community, which is a means to let residents know how their County government is doing.
The ETC Institute, a nationally known firm, is assisting the County with this effort. ETC Institute specializes in opinion research services for local governments, and has more than 20 years of expertise in customer satisfaction, citizen issues, and community needs assessment research. ETC Institute was responsible for distributing the survey, as well as collecting, analyzing and reporting the survey results.
