Miami-Dade County Tax Collector
The Tax Collector is part of Miami-Dade County’s Finance Department. We collect current and delinquent real and personal property taxes, special assessments for all local taxing authorities, local business tax receipts and convention and tourist taxes. We are also act on behalf of the State of Florida to issue automobile, boat, hunting and fishing licenses.

2014 Tax Bills
Official tax bills for 2014 taxes will be mailed on October 30 for collection of property taxes for calendar year 2014. If you do not receive your tax bill by the second week of November, please contact our office at 305-270-4916 or by e-mail at email@example.com for a duplicate tax bill.
The opening of the 2014 tax roll will be advertised on October 29 and October 30 in local newspapers in English, Spanish, and Creole for collection from November 1 through March 31, 2015.

View and Pay Property Taxes
Online payment by e-checking and by credit card will be available on November 1, 2014 for property tax payments.
Paying in Person
For your convenience, our office is open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the following location:

Cash payments are accepted at this location. In cases where customers are paying $10,000 or more in cash or money order, a Social Security card is required. Credit cards and debit cards are not accepted.
Paying by E-Checking
Online Payment by E-checking will be available on November 1, 2014 for real estate and tangible personal property for the 2014 tax year. Funds must be available for immediate withdrawal for e-checking from a regular checking account. In cases where a certificate is issued or an account is in Bankruptcy/Litigation, the payment button is disabled, therefore, disallowing the taxpayer to pay taxes.
Paying by Credit Card
Online Payment by credit card will be available on November 1, 2014 for real estate and tangible personal property for the 2014 tax year. Credit card payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. A non-refundable convenience fee of 2.35% of the tax amount will be applied to each credit card transaction. In cases where a certificate is issued or an account is in Bankruptcy/Litigation, the payment button is disabled, therefore, disallowing the taxpayer to pay taxes. Debit cards are not accepted.
