What constitutes illegal (major) Auto Repairs?

Repairs that cannot be completed within 72 hours.

Repairs that involve removal of major components of a vehicle such as the engine, transmission, radiator, rear suspension, gas tank or work that requires the placement of the vehicle on blocks with the tires removed is strictly prohibited.
Illegal auto repairs is a violation subject to a warning notice.
What types of repairs are permitted?
Those repairs considered “minor” repairs includes any work which is completed within seventy two (72) hours including, but not limited to:

Change of tires

Replacement of batteries

Change of oil, oil filter, air filters

Replacement of brakes, brake pads

Engine tune-up
In a residential district a property owner or tenant on improved property having a principal building or otherwise into operative condition an automobile of his property, only if all of the following requirements are met:

The property owner or tenant owns the automobile

The repairs take place only during daylight hours.

While under repair the automobile shall not be parked in front of the principal property unless the sideyard and/or the rear yard are not accessible.
