Transit Metropasses are available to all at a cost of $75 each, and are good for one month. Discount Metropasses are also available at a cost of $37.50 each. The discount pass can be used only by:

students in first through 12th grade (grades 7-12 must show a valid transit school ID or rail reduced-fare permit);

senior citizens 65 and older and customers with disabilities who must show a transit reduced-fare permit or Medicare card.
Transit permits and passes are available at the Miami-Dade Transit Information Center in Government Center Metrorail station, second level, in downtown Miami.
MDT Metropasses and Metrorail parking permits are available for purchase at your neighborhood Team Metro office. Only Metropass users may purchase the parking permit with the pass at a cost of $6.25 each. Tokens are $14.50 for a roll of 10 and are not refundable.
Effective January 1, 2006, Team Metro will no longer accept cash payment for direct sales transactions at any of our locations. Approved transactions will include: Checks, credit cards, debit cards, cashier checks and money orders.
As an additional service, three satellite centers have been established in the following Team Metro regional offices: Team Metro Northeast, University, and South Dade. These satellite centers process the Golden Passport applications on the spot and also accept and process STS applications.

Passes and tokens are available for purchase at your neighborhood Team Metro office between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. only.

Senior citizens 65 years and older or Social Security beneficiaries that are permanent Miami-Dade residents are eligible to ride transit free with a Golden Passport.

All honorably discharged veterans who are permanent residents of Miami-Dade and whose annual income is $22,000 or less are eligible to ride transit free with the Patriot Passport.
