Data Services Center Division
The Data Center Division provides management and technical support for 24/7 operation of enterprise-level infrastructure and hosting services for Miami-Dade County. The staff provides technical support for Z/OS, Z/VM and Z/Linux on Mainframe, AIX on System/P, and Unix, RedHat, XenServer and Windows on Wintel Blade Servers. Data Center staff support the Enterprise Storage and Backup Infrastructure and the VMWare Virtual Server Infrastructure. They provide technical and infrastructure support for the CITRIX Desktop and Application Virtualization infrastructure. They provide Enterprise Monitoring for all infrastructures supported by the Division and offsite Disaster Recovery services for all Mainframe Enterprise applications.
Onsite 24x7 Operations Staff is responsible for the completion of nightly production schedules, production batch scheduling, mainframe source control, off-hours help desk, high-speed/high-volume printing, post-processing and report distribution services and for performance monitoring of hundreds of application systems. The Data Center Division, in concert with ISD Facilities Management, is responsible for provisioning, monitoring and management of the physical infrastructure of three data centers operated by ITD (RDPCC, SPCC-18, and ICFB).Back to Top Page Last Edited: Thu May 30, 2013 10:13:36 AM
