Miami-Dade County Aviation And Information Technology Departments Develop Online Customer Payment Option For Miami International Airport

(MIAMI, March 7, 2013) - The Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) and Miami-Dade County’s Information Technology Department (ITD) have developed a new online payment system that makes it easier for customers to do business with the airport. MIA-Pay, accessible through the airport’s website, allows customers to pay any MDAD invoice using a credit card or a check. All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) are accepted. Customers, after registering online and creating a login account for their company, will be able to pay for invoices online at any time and from anywhere with web access.

MIA-Pay benefits customers by making it easy to:

Make timely payments to avoid delinquency fees
See all open invoices and up-to-date balances
Have direct control over how each payment is applied by controlling the amount and the invoices they wish to pay
