Shared Services Division

It maintains an internal work order and billing systems which manages and supports the interfaces within the external county service providers. The unit effectively investigate service/billing/customer complaints and takes the corrective action required to resolve the matter at hand.

The Shared Services Division provides customer support for countywide telephone and wireless services It is through these countywide services that the Shared Services customer support unit performs all associated moves/upgrades/changes for countywide telephone services including the equipment procurement, installation and support for countywide telephone systems, lines, circuits, and wireless devices.

It maintains a current inventory library of all enterprise telephone line/circuitry, telephone sets and wireless equipment. Shared Services administers all countywide PBX sites including voicemail and automatic call distributors.

It provides countywide customer support by assessing the needs of the customer and ensuring the successful implementation of countywide telephone related needs, as well as, the management and support of all departmental pages and satellite phones services supported by ITD.
