(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Beginning Saturday, June 19, 2004, Miami-Dade Transit will provide Park and Ride bus service to Florida Marlins’ weekend games at Pro Player Stadium. An official kickoff of the program and unveiling of the Marlins-MDT shuttles is being planned for the near future.
The buses will depart from the following four locations an hour and a half (90 minutes) before the start of the game:
· Hialeah Metrorail Station, 115 East 21st Street
· Dadeland North Metrorail Station, 8310 South Dixie Highway
· Tamiami Park, Coral Way (Southwest 24th Street) and 117th Avenue, near the batting cages.
· Golden Glades, 16000 NW 7th Avenue
Bus service to the Marlins games will end one hour after the conclusion of the game.
The fare is $7.00 roundtrip from Hialeah Metrorail Station, Dadeland North Metrorail Station and Tamiami Park.
The Golden Glades fare is $4.00.
Golden Passport and monthly Metro passes will be accepted.
