College Pass

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All college, university and vocational/technical school students enrolled in Miami-Dade Transit’s College Discount Pass program must show a valid student identification (ID) when using their monthly College Discount Pass to ride Metrobus or Metrorail.

College, university, and vocational / technical-school students can buy a 1-Month Pass on an EASY Ticket for $50 only at participating schools. Students must be enrolled full-time at the institution where the pass is sold.

College Pass EASY Tickets are not sold at the Government Center Kiosk or EASY Card sales locations.  There are no daily discount fares for college students. School faculty, staff and administration are not eligible to purchase the $50 College EASY Ticket.

K-12 Program

To ride Metrobus or Metrorail at the reduced fare, all Miami-Dade County students in grades K-12 will need to obtain an EASY Card at the Transit Service Center (Kiosk) located on the 2nd Floor of the Stephen P. Clark Center at 111 NW 1 Street. The cost for the card is $2.00 with proof of identification (School ID/School Registration).

Before using the EASY Card, a student will need to add cash value to the card to pay the transit fare.  EASY Cards can be loaded with up to $150 at the Transit Service Center.   Please note that the EASY Cards for this program cannot be managed online. 

They can be loaded at transit vending machines, sales outlets, at transit kiosks, pass sales outlets at the Overtown Transit Village (701 NW 1 Ct.) or by calling 786-469-5151. For more information on this program contact the Easy Card Center.
