Miami-Dade Transit Enhancing Service for Miami Heat Parade


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade Transit will be enhancing Metrorail and Metromover service for the Miami Heat Victory Parade tomorrow, Friday, June 23.

Metrorail and Metromover will be running peak hour service from approximately noon until one hour after the events at the American Airlines Arena conclude.  Metrorail trains will run every six minutes and Metromover cars will run every ninety seconds.  Additional vehicles will be added to accommodate the massive crowds expected for the parade. 

People attending the events are urged to use public transportation as parking will be limited.

Metrobus routes 3, 16, 51, 93, 95, C, S, 11, and 77 (PDF) will be temporarily detoured.
