(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade Transit will provide express Metromover service for passengers attending Grand Opening ceremonies at the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts October 5-8, 2006.
The express service offers a direct connection between the Stephen P. Clark Center in downtown Miami and Metromover Omni station – a block from the Carnival Center. Service begins one hour prior to the start of the event and ends one hour after the conclusion of the event. Patrons are asked to park at any Metrorail station, ride Metrorail to the Stephen P. Clark Center (Government Center Station) and transfer to Metromover on the second level. Transit representatives will guide riders to express trains. Metromover is free of charge.
