Miami-Dade Transit Providing Easy, Convenient and Inexpensive Transportation to the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --
There is now an easy, convenient and inexpensive way to travel to the new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts from Lincoln Road, Venetian Islands and other parts of South Beach.  Miami-Dade Transit is extending the hours of route A to accommodate patrons attending performances at the Center.

The route A will depart every 20 minutes from Miami Beach throughout the evening.  The return trips will be every 20 minutes and the last bus will return to Miami Beach at 11:40 P.M.  Additional service will be provided for late performances. The fare is $1.50 each way.

The service departs from Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road, and then runs parallel to the pedestrian mall and numerous parking lots along 17th Street westbound.  It then crosses the Venetian Causeway directly to the Omni Bus Terminal which is just a short one-block walk to the Center.

As an added incentive to this service, many Lincoln Road restaurants will be offering pre and post-performance dining specials for patrons of the Center.  Contact your favorite Lincoln Road restaurant to learn about their offer and conditions.
