Miami-Dade Transit Holiday Service Schedule


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- For the 2006 holiday season, Miami-Dade Transit has announced the following schedule for its Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover service: 

  • On Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24, 2006, Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover will operate regular Sunday service.
  • On Christmas Day, Monday, December 25, 2006, Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover will operate regular Sunday service.
  • On New Year’s Eve, Sunday, December 31, 2006, Metrorail and Metromover will operate 24 hours.  Metrorail trains will arrive every 15 minutes until 2:00 a.m. and every 30 minutes from 2:00 a.m. until 5:30 a.m.
  • On New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1, 2007, Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover will operate regular Sunday service.
  • On Tuesdays, December 26 and January 2, Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover will operate on a regular schedule.
