Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) - Earlington Heights Connector*
As part of the construction activities for Miami-Dade Transit's MIC-Earlington Heights Metrorail extension project, the contractor will be performing improvements along westbound NW 41 Street from NW 27 Avenue to NW 32 Avenue. The work to be performed includes drainage improvements and reconstruction of the entire roadway as well as sidewalk and curb and gutter on the north side and curb and gutter and metal guard rail on the south side. This work will require the following closure:
Lane Closure
One westbound traveling lane will be closed on NW 41 Street from NW 27 Avenue to NW 32 Avenue starting Friday, July 24, 2009. This construction will begin at the end of July or early August with a duration of approximately two months. Work will begin with drainage improvements on the north side of the roadway. After road reconstruction on the north, the contractor will switch traffic onto the newly paved roadway and continue with road reconstruction on the south side. Access to residences will be maintained at all times.
