Miami-Dade Transit plans public meetings on 10-year plan


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 
Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) is inviting residents to participate in one of two public meetings in August to share their ideas on the future of public transportation in the county.

MDT's 10-year Transit Development Plan focuses on the development of transit services in Miami-Dade County based on where they are mostly needed.

The first meeting is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Kendall Federation of Homeowner Associations Town Hall Meeting, Kendall Village Center Pavilion, 8625 SW 124th Ave., Miami, FL 33183.

The second meeting will be held on Monday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. during the City of North Miami Beach Planning and Zoning Meeting at the North Miami Beach Council Chambers, 17011 NE 19th Ave., North Miami Beach, FL 33162
