(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Beginning October 12, 2009, and until November 13, 2009, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.: As part of construction activities for Miami-Dade Transit's Miami Intermodal Center (MIC)-Earlington Heights Connector Project, the contractor will temporarily close the northbound lanes at NW 32 Avenue and NW 41 Street in order to replace the existing drainage line running across NW 32 Avenue.  Northbound traffic will be shifted west onto the existing southbound lane and no left turns will be permitted to NW 41 Street westbound.  Installation on the northbound side will take approximately three weeks to complete.  Then the contractor will shift traffic to the east to connect the line on the west (southbound) side.  Work on the southbound side will take approximately two weeks to complete.  All work will be performed at night, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. with one northbound lane and one southbound lane remaining open for the duration of this work.  At 6:00 a.m. every day, the contractor will re-open all lanes to traffic.
