Hispanic Heritage tours return for the ninth consecutive year


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 
Miami-Dade Transit will celebrate Hispanic Heritage month with its award-winning Hispanic Heritage Tours, which offer the public free narrated bus tours of some of the historic sites that showcase Miami's rich Hispanic legacy.

As part of the three-hour tours, participants can explore such sites as the Miami Sanctuary of Our Lady of Charity, Miami's historic Little Havana and the Freedom Tower, which is hosting a free exhibit of renowned Cuban painter Cundo Bermudez.

The tours will take place on Saturday, October 24th. Tours will depart from downtown Miami's Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 N.W. First St., at 9:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. To reserve a seat, call 786-469-5415. Please specify if you want the tour narrated in English or Spanish.
