(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- As part of construction activities for Miami-Dade Transit's Miami Intermodal Center (MIC)-Earlington Heights Connector Project, the contractor for Miami-Dade Transit's Miami Intermodal Center (MIC)-Earlington Heights Connector Project will temporarily close northbound and southbound lanes at NW 32 Avenue between NW 40 Street and NW 41 Street in order to install new drainage facilities. Northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to outside lanes in each direction while installation work will be conducted on the inside lanes. Installation on the inside lanes will take approximately two to three weeks to complete. The contractor will then shift traffic to the east to install drainage facilities on the west (southbound) side. Work on the southbound side will take approximately two to three weeks to complete. All work will be performed at night, Monday through Friday, between 7:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. with one northbound lane and one southbound lane remaining open for the duration of this work. At 6:00 a.m. every day, the contractor will re-open all lanes to traffic.
