Miami-Dade Transit to make Metrobus service adjustments

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --
Beginning June 12, 2011, Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) will adjust several bus routes.  These service adjustments can be found in English, Spanish and Creole on Miami-Dade Transit's web site: www.miamidade.gov/transit.  The print version of these Metrobus Service Adjustments is currently available in English on Metrobuses and at the Transit Service Center at the Government Center Metrorail station in downtown Miami.

Miami-Dade Transit periodically adjusts its Metrobus routes in order to better reflect the changes in ridership taking place within its service area. For example, routes that are heavily traveled will see more buses and pick-up and drop-off times added, whereas those routes that have less ridership will be scaled back. These adjustments are made periodically to ensure that MDT runs as efficiently as possible while it serves its transit customers.
