Metromover's Brickell segment closes early to perform maintenance

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Today, October 21, 2011, at 3:30 p.m., Metromover's Brickell Segment (on the Outer Loop) closed early to conduct extended maintenance work.

Shuttle buses will be providing free rides for patrons using the Brickell Segment until midnight. Regular service on the Brickell Segment is expected to resume tomorrow, Oct. 22, at 5 a.m.

Metromover's service on the Inner Loop and Omni Segment of the Outer Loop is not affected.

For more information, customers can call 305-891-3131, Monday - Friday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed on Sundays and County-observed holidays.
