The following westbound closures of SR 112/Airport Expressway are still scheduled as advertised on October 18 2011:

Between Wednesday, October 26, 2011 and Friday, October 28, 2011, all westbound lanes between NW 22 Avenue and NW 42 Avenue/LeJeune Road, will be closed from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning.

Both the eastbound and westbound closures are necessary to repave the road.

Suggested alternate routes:

• Miami International Airport to eastbound SR 112: Motorists traveling from the Miami International Airport to SR 112 eastbound will be directed to take NW 42 Avenue/LeJeune Road north, turn east on NW 36 Street, turn north on NW 27 Avenue and take the entrance ramp to eastbound SR 112.
• NW 36 Street to eastbound SR 112:  Motorists traveling east on NW 36 Street who wish to access eastbound SR 112 will be directed to go north on NW 27 Avenue and take the entrance ramp to  eastbound SR 112.
• NW 21 Street to eastbound SR 112:  Motorists traveling west on NW 21 Street who wish to access eastbound SR 112 will be directed to go north on NW 42 Avenue/LeJeune Road, east on NW 36th Street, and north on NW 27 Avenue to take the eastbound SR 112 ramp.
• East Okeechobee Road to eastbound SR 112:  Motorists traveling on East Okeechobee Road who wish to access eastbound SR 112 will be directed to go east on NW 36 Street and turn north onto NW 27 Avenue to take the eastbound entrance ramp to SR 112.
• Westbound SR 112 to LeJeune Road and Miami International Airport:  Motorists travelling on westbound SR 112 to LeJeune Road or Miami International Airport (MIA) will be directed to exit at NW 22 Avenue and go north to NW 46 Street. Continue west on NW 46 Street, which turns into SE 8 Street (Hialeah) and turn south onto NW 42 Avenue/LeJeune Road/SE 8th Avenue. Motorists travelling to MIA will be directed to take the NW 21 Street ramp at LeJeune Road for direct access to the airport.
• Westbound SR 112 to East Okeechobee Road:  Motorists travelling on westbound SR 112 to East Okeechobee Road will be directed to exit at NW 22 Avenue and go south to NW 36 Street, continue west on NW 36 Street, and turn north onto East Okeechobee Road.
• Westbound SR 112 to NW 36 Street:  Motorists travelling on westbound SR 112 to NW 36 Street will be directed to exit at NW 22 Avenue and go south, continue south on NW 22 Avenue, and turn west onto NW 36 Street.
