Weekend passengers who wish to travel between the Okeechobee and Palmetto stations are encouraged to use a free shuttle bus provided by Miami-Dade Transit. The shuttle bus departure times will follow approximately those of the weekend Metrorail schedule.

Passengers who normally park at the Palmetto Station, or are dropped off at this station, are encouraged to use the Okeechobee Station instead.
