Miami-Dade Transit sponsors Food Trucks to benefit the United Way


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade Transit is sponsoring Food Trucks to benefit the United Way of Miami-Dade. At select Metrorail stations, transit riders, as well as members of the community at large, will have the opportunity to purchase freshly prepared gourmet food.

Those interested can stop by for lunch until Wednesday, May 30, 2012 between 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Food Trucks will be stationed as follows:
  • Tuesdays at University Metrorail Station - 5000 Ponce de Leon Blvd and Civic Center Station - 1501 NW 12 Avenue
  • Wednesdays at Douglas Road Metrorail Station - 3100 SW 37 Avenue and Civic Center Station 1501 NW 12 Avenue
  • Thursdays at Brickell Metrorail Station - 1001 SW 1 Ave
  • Fridays at University, Douglas Road and Brickell Metrorail Stations
