(MIAMI,June 13, 2012) - In order to improve the Metrorail system and make your commute more efficient, MDT is making improvements to the track equipment in the Culmer area during the next two weekends:
Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th
MDT encourages passengers to plan their commute carefully this weekend and allow for extra travel time to reach their destinations.
There will be various signs posted at both Culmer and Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre. These signs provide further instructions on where to catch the free shuttle buses and will help direct passengers.
Those traveling southbound will need to exit at Culmer station, take the shuttle bus to the Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre, and re-board the Metrorail train there to continue on their southbound commute.
Those passengers traveling northbound must exit at Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre, take the shuttle bus to the Culmer station, and re-board the Metrorail train there to continue on their northbound commute.
