(MIAMI, August 27, 2012) – Due to electrical repair work that needs to be conducted by Florida Power & Light (FPL) near the Vizcaya Metrorail station at approximately 11 p.m. tonight, Miami-Dade Transit will have the following Metrorail service adjustments:
- From approximately 10:30 p.m. today, August 27, to 12:30 a.m., tomorrow, August 28, free bus shuttle service will be provided between the Government Center and Douglas Road stations, making all stops between these stations with a service frequency of every 15 minutes.
- Regular Metrorail service will be provided on the rest of the Metrorail system with the following service frequency:
- Every 15 minutes from the Dadeland South to Douglas Road stations
- Every 30 minutes between the Palmetto and Government stations, and
between the Miami International Airport and Government Center stations.
Miami-Dade Transit will continue to provide regular-scheduled service tomorrow.
