Miami-Dade Transit service impacted by by presidential candidate Romney’s tentative visit

Metrorail may experience intermittent disruptions in service around 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Bus Routes 48 and 56 may also experience delays.


(MIAMI, October 30, 2012) – Presidential candidate Governor Mitt Romney is tentatively  scheduled to be in the Coral Gables area Wednesday, October 31, 2012. This visit will impact Metrorail service as well as two Metrobus routes (Routes 48 and 56).

Miami-Dade Transit is asking passengers to plan accordingly for Wednesday, October 31st and follow all instructions provided by Transit personnel. 

METRORAIL:

Metrorail will experience intermittent disruptions in service:

  • Between approximately 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • Between approximately 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

METROBUS:

The following bus routes will experience service delays from approximately 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.:

  • Route 48 and Route 56
  • In addition, all routes that provide service in the Coral Gables area may experience delays
