(MIAMI, March 21, 2014) – Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) will be doing track work between Northside and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Metrorail stations all day on Saturday, March 22nd and Sunday, March 23, 2014.
During that time, Metrorail will offer free bus service between these two stations from 5 a.m. until the end of service on both days.
Passengers traveling southbound from any station north of the Northside Station will need to disembark at the Northside station, go down to the ground level and take a free shuttle bus to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Station, where they can re-board a southbound Metrorail train.
Those headed northbound from any station south of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Station will need to disembark at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Station, go down to the ground level and take a free shuttle bus to the Northside Station, where they can re-board a northbound Metrorail train.
Passengers are encouraged to plan accordingly.
