Miami-Dade Transit to run a regular schedule for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

Only the Route 95 Golden Glades Express will operate less frequently

(MIAMI, Jan. 14, 2015) – On Monday, January 19, 2015, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Miami-Dade Transit will be running on a regular weekday schedule.

This means that Metrorail and Metromover will be providing regular weekday service, and all Metrobus routes, with the exception of the Route 95 Golden Glades Express, will also run on a regular schedule.

The Golden Glades Express will operate less frequently. Service will run approximately every 10 to 15 minutes between Golden Glades and downtown Miami.

The first and last trips in the morning and afternoon will leave as currently scheduled.
All trips to and from the Civic Center/VA Hospital, Brickell, Miami Gardens Dr./Carol City, Aventura Mall and Earlington Heights/Doral will be provided; however, some of these trips may have minor frequency adjustments of up to five minutes.
